The Praxis is a suite of exams that are used by several states as part of the teacher licensure/certification process. Each of the Praxis exams is associated with a fee; these range from $50 to $209. For some college students, these fees are beyond the range of their personal budgets. Students who meet the eligibility requirements may qualify for fee waivers for the Praxis Core (which consists of 3 subtests) or one Praxis Subject Assessment. Students are only allowed to have one fee waiver per year, and those who need a waiver for all 3 Praxis Core subtests will receive a waiver for the Praxis Core combined test (5752). Praxis Voucher Code
A Praxis voucher code is the fee waiver that students receive if they meet qualifications and have their application for the waiver approved. This code can be entered during Praxis registration to waive the fee for one to 3 of the Praxis Core exams or one Praxis Subject Assessment. The Praxis voucher code is offered by the ETS and is sent to the student once their application is approved.
Praxis Promotional Code
While there may be promotional codes to sites that offer preparation materials for the Praxis such as Praxis practice test and Praxis study guide, there aren't any legitimate Praxis promotional codes to be found online. The only way to save money on the Praxis is to apply for a fee waiver or get a Praxis scholarship. These scholarships are sometimes available from non-profits and other organizations interested in helping teaching candidates reach their goals.

What Are the Eligibility Criteria for a Fee Waiver?
As mentioned, fee waivers are limited and are only available to students who meet a list of qualifications. These qualifications are validated during the application process. In general, fee waivers are offered to college students who need to take the Praxis exam, but cannot afford the Praxis test cost. To qualify for a fee waiver, students must meet all of the following requirements:
Receiving financial aid for the current school year
Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program (cannot have a master's or doctoral degree)
Able to provide an Enrollment Verification Certificate
Can submit a current FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR) with an Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of less than $3,000
Are required to take the Praxis by an authorized score recipient
There are a limited number of waivers available for each test date and for each institution. Therefore, waivers are given out on a first-come, first-served basis each testing year. Students are only eligible to apply for one fee waiver each testing year.
Once students are sure that they qualify for a fee waiver, they will need to fill out the fee waiver request form and collect the necessary documents to submit. The fee waiver request form asks students to provide their personal information, including name, address, phone number, and email address. Students also need to fill out the test code of the exam they plan to use the waiver on, and provide information about their education level, current institution, and score recipient.
Based on when the student plans to take their Praxis exam, there is a correlating closing date for requesting the fee waiver. Once students have filled out the form, they also need to collect an Enrollment Verification Certificate from their institution and their current FAFSA SAR to submit with their form. Prospective teachers need to scan all of their documents and either email their documents to PraxisFeeWaiver@ets.org or print and mail the form and documents to the ETS Praxis at PO Box 6051, Princeton, NJ 08541-6051.
