About Us

The teacher certification process can be complicated because it varies based on the state, subject matter, and grade level. Prospective educators also must be aware of all the content covered on their exams, registration deadlines, and any other credentialing requirements to avoid getting delayed or having to retake the exams. We have researched and compiled up-to-date information for each state's requirements and provide access to the top study guides and practice tests available to make sure you're ready.

Our Mission

It's simple: to empower the teachers of tomorrow by making teacher credentialing as simple as possible. Passionate, dedicated educators shape and prepare our next generation of learners. TeacherCertification.com is focused on making it easier to enter the profession by providing clear and helpful information.

And our mission is more important today than ever. The United States is losing teachers at a record pace and many areas have extreme teacher shortages -- especially in diverse and underprivileged communities. In May 2021 there were 334,000 job openings in state and local education, the highest since the BLS started collecting this data in 2000. We hope to do our part to correct this trend and make sure every aspiring educator gets certified and has the opportunity to make a difference with those students that need them the most.

What We Offer

We work with certified teachers and credentialing experts from each state to create and vet our content, ensuring that our information is accurate, concise, relevant, accessible, and above all, useful for educators at every step of the credentialing process.

We provide:

  • State-by-state teacher certification requirements
  • Study guides and practice tests for teacher certification exams, including the top prep videos and online courses

Teacher Certification Test Prep

When we talk to teachers, we regularly hear about the challenges presented by a teacher certification exam, often one of the last hurdles before completing credentialing. We believe no aspiring teachers should be blocked because of a standardized exam.

We offer a wide selection of services and materials to help credential candidates prepare for and pass their certification exams. We offer practice tests and study guides for Praxis as well as every state exam including TExES, FTCE, CSET, CBEST.

Who We Are

We come from many walks of life. We are education and teaching experts, teachers, credentialing experts, coaches and editors across the country with diverse educational backgrounds, but we have one thing in common. We are all extremely passionate individuals who work together to make teacher certification accessible. We collaborate tirelessly to research and share up to date, accurate state and test specific information and test prep study guides and practice that is helpful to educators whom we seek to support on every step of their certification journey.
